A cooler day

 Today has been so much cooler its been really nice to be  able to go out  again after the heatwave of the last  5 days, Our walk around the marshes and along the canal was  really nice but over to quick 
I love being there always makes me feel so happy and relaxed . 
 Always looking for something different to take a photo of   first photo was a bulrush all alone in the reed beds tried to find more but  couldn't see any 

Then we saw this strange looking creature lol it made me think of a giant bird  with a big beak  tuffty hair and even an eye if you look carefully anyway it made me smile and I had to take a photo of it, I called it twigasaurus lol.

 We saw a heron sitting on the fence across the marshes had to crop it quite hard as was so far away, wish I could afford a bigger lens  but they are so expensive  

 We have been trying for weeks to get a decent photo of the swan family but they are keeping them well out of the way  they have 5 young but couldn't get them all in today's photo

Across the canal a couple of sheep grazing 

 Some meadow sweet growing on the edge of the canal its flowers look so soft and fluffy, there is loads of it along the canal it looks so pretty

And the Canada Geese family cant believe how fast they have grown they will be 7 weeks old tomorrow and already nearly as big as the parents, they have taken such good care of them

  
Hubby decided he wanted a cup of tea so we stopped off at the little tearooms  just before you get to the beach its only small but really nice, tea in a Floral teapot with bone china cups and saucers  to match very posh lol.
then on to the  lock gate overlooking the beach, which was really quiet
