A favorite walk

Been a really nice day today, we did our usual walk along the canal then along to the beach stopping for a picnic lunch on the way,   Its getting harder to find something new to take photos of when you do the same walk so many times, but I really love  living here, being free to go out when we want to  or staying home  if we choose   we stopped off to get an ice cream and sat watching the  canal  and  enjoying the warm sunshine  hubby commented that its like being on holiday which I suppose it , we are so lucky to live here in this beautiful place

The swans are keeping their young family well away from everyone in the middle of the marshes so really hard to get a photo of them  my big lens  is only 300mm so cant zoom in far enough to get a decent photo even cropping it  doesn't help much and blurs the picture.

A couple of photos of the canal not many people about so was really peaceful and relaxing
